Customer Testimonials - I just returned from my closing on a condominium at Lake Shore and I feel compelled to sing the praises of my real estate agent Pat Crutchfield. Pat conducted herself in a professional, courteous and yet very understanding and good humored demeanor. She did an excellent job in simplifying a complex maze of terms, procedures and protocols for this naive first time buyer. Pat made the difference between an arduous expenditure of energy and a pleasant exciting experience. I also appreciated her referral to private banking as an alternative to conventional mortgage loans. I look forward to moving into my new home and wanted to express my satisfaction with Pat. She had come highly recommended from my colleagues at Orange Grove for her ongoing efforts on behalf of our expanding "supported living" residential program.
- I would like to express our sincere appreciation for the assistance and support we have received from Pat Crutchfield in acquiring specialized properties for Orange Grove residents. Pat has become our "go to" realtor when we need a lot to construct a home on or when we need a very specific home to accomodate individuals who desire to live in established neighborhoods. She has taken the time to understand our needs and resources and never fails to deliver acceptable choices. Pat also stays close with us through the negotiation and closing process and is always around for the inevitable questions that arise when you are dealing with a large nonprofit organization like Orange Grove. She has helped us acquire about twenty sites so far and we will certainly call on her when our next opportunity arises.

Having lived in Chattanooga all of his life, Charlie knows Chattanooga and its people! He attended the relatively new -at- the- time Normal Park School in North Chattanooga (now a premier magnet school), then Baylor School, and Tulane University in New Orleans. He has always had a rich sense of history and place and love of the South, which probably emanates from being so aware of the Civil War history in and around Chattanooga that he was raised with as well as his New Orleans days. That is a city that before and after Katrina will always be in his heart. Charlie\'s father and the founder of the company met and married Florence Holzer from New Orleans in the late 1920\'s. Flora Harkey, Charlie\'s wife, is also a native New Orleanian and Chattanooga transplant. They have four children and 8 grandchildren. Son Will Walldorf is a professor at Auburn University. Daughter Polly Walldorf Tran is a commercial designer in Boston. Sara Walldorf McNabb is a mother of 2 in Roswell, Georgia (a Realtor with the company prior to her marriage). Nathan Walldorf, a founder of Young Life in Guatemala, is a third generation Realtor with the firm beginning in 2005. Nathan has 2 sons. Nathan and Charlie are the father-son team approach who combine youth and experience. Charlie enjoys traveling, entertaining, Dixieland jazz, water sports, gardening, snow skiing, fishing, hiking, road biking, playing with grand children and anything out of doors. Accomplishments include being named Realtor of the Year, President of Chattanooga Association of Realtors, director of Tennessee Association of Realtors, past Deacon and Elder of Lookout Mtn Presbyterian Church, Goodwill/Tulane Alum/Baylor Alum/Salvation Army/Houston Museum/a founding member of the Bessie Smith Jazz Festival and Lookout Protection Association present or past director positions. He holds the Graduate, Realtors Institute and Certified Residential Realtor designations. Walldorf has been recognized nationally for production by Relo, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World\'s production and service to the luxury market network. Charlie and his brother Rudy own Herman Walldorf Company, the firm their father began in 1926. They are proud of the rich heritage their family has brought to Chattanooga real estate and proud of the level of service their salespeople offer you. Herman Walldorf & Co. is the oldest real estate family name in Chattanooga.
