Sunday, February 3rd, 2008Late last year, we learned that the U.S. Census Bureau had declared Chattanooga to have the fastest growing population of any metro in Tennessee. Mayor Littlefield deserves our appreciation for raising the issue and submitting the substantial body of data that helped the Census Bureau correct its figures. Previously published statistics claimed that Chattanooga was actually losing population.
Walldorf Realtors receive prestigious Realtor Emeritus award
Wednesday, January 30th, 2008The first Chattanooga Association of Realtors (CAR) meeting of 2008 was held Wed., Jan. 30, at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The prestigious Realtor Emeritus award, marking 40 years in the industry, was given to three CAR members – Charlie Walldorf, George McGee and Mary Anne Rennick. Each of these Realtors are with Herman Walldorf and Company.
Chattanooga Airport Traffic Up 25 Percent in 2007
Tuesday, January 1st, 2008Over the last several years, the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport has added three new airlines and seven new nonstop destinations. Local travelers now have access to nonstop service to Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Memphis, Washington D.C., Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Orlando, Tampa/St. Pete, Ft. Lauderdale and Columbus, OH.
