Rudy Walldorf, CCIMOffice: 423-756-2400 x117 Rudy Walldorf, CCIM was the first Chattanooga Realtor to be accredited as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), the premier designation in commercial real estate. A Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina, Rudy’s work encompasses all aspects of the firm’s operations. His clients include regional and national firms in retail, finance, office, and shopping center development and related activities. He has served as President of the local Board of Realtors as well as Regional Vice President. He has been named Realtor of the Year. He also served for 25 years on the Board of Chattanooga State Technical Community College and now serves on the Board of Advisors to the Business School at the University of Tennessee at Chattanogoa (UTC). He is a Rotarian. The Hamilton County Herald ran an article about Rudy on July 13, 2007. “Local Realtor represents one of three generations of successful businessmen.” Rudy Walldorf started working for his father when he was in high school. After graduating from the University of North Carolina, Rudy joined his father selling residential real estate, but turned to commercial real estate in the 1970s after taking an introductory CCIM course. He became the first Chattanooga Realtor to be accredited as a Certified Commercial Investment Member, which is the premier designation in commercial real estate. “(My father) always encouraged us in whatever direction we wanted to go. My wife and I have tried to give the same opportunities and guidance to our three sons.” He and his wife must have done something right–all three sons now own their own businesses. One runs a graphic sign operation, another owns a recording studio and works as a film editor, and another is one of three owners of the Sticky Fingers chain of restaurants. “I feel that I have been successful through integrity, attention to details, and knowledge–a lot of which is God given,” said Walldorf. |
